Today Lil Ricky, The World Famous Lil Ricky and I (Jay) rode down to San Diego, CA to visit with John and Marissa Conely, and their Team at Conely's USA. The weather here in Cali is a little bit colder this time of year, so I had my layers on for sure this morning.
Traffic was light, and it took us about an hour and forty-five minutes to get down there to Conely's.

Conely's has a few locations in San Diego performing different processes of manufacturing of the entire line of Conely's products. One line of product that just came out, are the 2017 Gen 3 Retro Series Saddle Bags. These awesome bags are made right there in San Diego at the main shop.

Material is cut at the main shop (sometimes by John himself, he is hands on) to make the pieces for the bags to be assembled into the final product. Then the pieces are sewn together by Conely's employees in a small sewing shop, and transformed into the well made product that they are.
John takes pride in telling Lil Ricky and I that all his products are made right here in the good ole U.S of A. When you hear John tell you about the products, and demonstrate the quirky little things they can do (Like the Saddle Bags standing up on their own unzipped), you see John and Marissa and their team have really put in a lot of hard work to bring you the products that Conely's produces.
John really does care about the Harley community and the accessories that they are going to put on their machines. John opens up one of his T-Bar bags and shows us the soft lining that is in one of the pockets of the T-Bar Bag. He says " This helps protect the lenses of your sunglasses, and the surfaces of your cellular phone". The thought and research that goes into these products is amazing to me.
How does John and Marissa and their small team come up with these little features and nuances of his products? Simple, I wholeheartedly believe he cares about and takes pride in the products he sells and how the end user will get the most out of those products. The Conelys want people to buy a product for its basic intended purpose, but they throw in extras that other companies with similar products did not.
I have seen John and Marissa's operation up close, I have met their team. I have seen Conely's products in various stages of production up to the final product. I have seen first hand the detail and care that are put into the packing and shipping process of those products. More importantly, I have spoken to and gotten to know a little bit about the man at the head of this operation, John Conely. Of course Conely's USA would not run as smooth as it does it wasn't for Marissa Conely, and the Conely Team. John has done something I wish I was able to to do everyday of my life, and that is work on something that is Harley or motorcycle related full time.
The Dyna VLOG will be doing more videos with John and Marissa and their team on many new and exciting products that Conely's will be producing and offering up to us Harley riders for 2017. Be sure to check out the Conely's website often for updates on these new products
